A fire has broken out at a Shahed drone warehouse in Russia's western Tatarstan region, destroying $16 million worth of drone parts, Ukraine's Defense Ministry reports.
According to foreign media, the Ministry said on Telegram that the warehouse, which housed parts for the Shahed-136 unmanned aerial vehicle, was "destroyed".
"The devastating mysterious fire was another blow to Russia's terrorist military-industrial complex," the Ministry said in a statement.
"The General Directorate of Military Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reminds that there will be a just punishment for any war crime committed against the Ukrainian people," the statement continued, writes A2 CNN.
Thousands of people, civilians and military, have lost their lives in Ukraine since February 2022, when Russia launched its unprovoked aggression against its western neighbor. (A2 Televizion)
