New footage shows former Syrian President Bashar al-Assad's collection of luxury cars stored in a garage near his main palace in Damascus.
In a video verified by CNN, a person driving among the cars discovers more than 40 luxury vehicles located in a large warehouse in western Damascus, north of the Al-Mazzeh neighborhood.
Among the cars discovered is a red Ferrari F50, whose value often exceeds $3 million, as well as a Lamborghini, a Rolls Royce and a Bentley. One of the cars has license plates registered in Damascus. Another video shot by people walking through the garage shows the same collection of cars.
After the rebels advanced towards Damascus, Assad and his family fled to Moscow, where Russia has offered them political asylum, according to an official source. (A2 Televizion)
