A leather jacket worn by Michael Jackson in the 1980s sold at auction for a record $306,000.
The black and white jacket, worn by the pop legend in a TV commercial, was expected to sell for up to $410,000.
It was among 200 other objects of music history that went up for auction in London, where a George Michael jacket and part of Amy Winehouse's hair were also presented.
Jackson wore the jacket in 1984, in the first of a series of ads the superstar did for the soft drink company.
These commercials are mostly remembered for the incident where Jackson's hair caught fire during a filming session, leaving him with severe burns. (A2 Televizion)
