The American rapper, Snoop Dog, has shocked his fans around the world with the last post on social networks where he declared that he will give up the consumption of marijuana.
Known for the "cloud of smoke" that accompanied him all the time, except for musical hits, Snoop Dog says that he made this decision after a long consultation with other family members.
Fans were left stunned by the statement of the producer of "Death Row Records", who reportedly smoked 75 to 150 marijuana cigarettes every day.
Some of them write that this is the rapper's next joke, while others think that he may have been under the influence of marijuana when they made the post.
"After many conversations with my family, I have decided to give up grass. Please respect my privacy at this time," Snoop's message read.
"Today is not April 1st Snoop", one fan wrote on the rapper's website, while another said that "the world is coming to an end".
