Dear commenter.
I am writing to you in the singular because even though you are many, you have one mind.
Whether you are a brave profile without a photo, a newly opened profile, a commenter with a photo eating at a restaurant..., I am writing this letter on behalf of those who have lost hope for a normal discussion/debate on Facebook.
Don't forget that you, with every comment, every "like" and every "share", are writing a new chapter of virtual heroism, far more glorious than the heroism of our people throughout the centuries.
Don't forget that it is you who, with the courage of a digital Skanderbeg, is defending the homeland from the great threat of dissent, from humor, satire, and irony.
You are the one who, with banal words or "bravo" and barely legible Albanian, is destroying the party's enemies.
It is you who, like the partisans of old, understand that the real battle is not in the mountains or on the streets, at work or on vacation, but in the comment sections, where life thrives and 3D works flourish.
I want to be honest with you, dear commenter.
You don't write about ideas. That gives you a headache. Ideas are dangerous. You don't even write about events, because that requires reading the news, trying to understand it, and who has time for that when you can spend your time eavesdropping on "hostile" posts.
You write about people, about those who don't think twice before writing, about those who dare to disagree with you, or worse, with your party or, even worse, with your beloved leader.
And as you write fearlessly and without filter, don't forget that you may be one of those who hasn't lived in Albania for years, but feel obligated to uphold the honor of the party from 1,000 kilometers away, with a cup of coffee in hand and a tired Wi-Fi.
You have reached the point where you believe that Skanderbeg, under the leadership of the party and the enlightened teachings of the LEADER, defeated the Turks. Amen!
But you might be one of those who, for a job, have bothered to like, comment "bravo" and share. I understand.
But you may also be one of those who cares more about the leader's face than your own pocket.
You may be one of those who complain about corruption, but you forgive it when your party does it. You think the party becomes stronger from your combative comments, but you remain silent like a blade of grass when a burning truth burns those on your political wing.
But if you are one of those who really want to change the situation for the better, then start discussing ideas, not people. Be brave in seeking facts, not just brave with slogans. And above all, don't forget: a true patriot is not the one who "likes" negative comments, but the one who dares to see the truth, even when it doesn't have many 'likes'.
A true patriot is one who loves the Albanian language, writes beautifully in Albanian, thinks purely in Albanian, and acts as a patriot by saying: this is not okay. Enough!
You too can be a true patriot if you fear the day when everyone thinks the same and nothing changes... (A2 Televizion)
