At least two lives lost, a student and a teacher, after a 15-year-old girl opened fire inside a private school classroom in Madison, Wisconsin. "The perpetrator has been identified as 15-year-old Natalie Rupnow, who identified herself as Samantha," said Sean Barnes, Madison City Police Chief, writes A2 CNN.
The alleged perpetrator, who according to the police was a student at the Christian school, shot herself with a firearm and died as a result of her injuries on the way to the hospital. The police announced that they had never used their weapons.
"6 other students and a teacher were injured and sent to the hospital. "Two students remain in critical condition with serious injuries," said Barnes.
An investigation has been launched to uncover the motives of this tragedy with Madison authorities looking to do more to prevent gun violence. (A2 Televizion)
