Chinese President Xi Jinping will visit Russia in 2025, Moscow's ambassador to the country has confirmed.
"As for concrete bilateral events, I can say that appropriate plans are being actively drawn up," Igor Morgulov told the RIA news agency, foreign media write.
What can be said to be no secret, in terms of priority, is that the President of the People's Republic of China is expected in Russia next year.
China's Foreign Ministry has not confirmed this, writes A2 CNN.
President Xi was in Russia in October for the BRICS summit, an organization of nine countries including Russia and China.
Putin visited China in February 2022, just days before invading Ukraine, proclaiming a "borderless" partnership.
He was in Beijing in May this year, when he welcomed a "new era" of relations focused on opposing US policy. (A2 Televizion)
