According to foreign media, this ministry also called on the international community to intervene to stop what it described as crimes against Palestinians.
France also condemned the attacks, with the country's Foreign Ministry calling for an immediate end to the violence.
The EU's aid commissioner has called for an end to renewed violence and a return to a ceasefire, saying civilians in Gaza "have endured unimaginable suffering".
