
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights says the target was the 23rd Air Defense Brigade
The heavy bombardment, "the most intense in the region since 2012", was launched by Israel on Sunday night in the area of Tartous in Syria, where Russian military bases are located.

According to international media, the target of the bombings were military units, including anti-aircraft formations, causing large explosions.

Seismic researchers note that one of the explosions at an ammunition depot in Tartous was recorded by seismographs as a magnitude 3 earthquake. (A2 Televizion)
