German police are investigating three alleged rapes of three women during carnival celebrations in Cologne. In addition to the rapes, two other sexual crimes have also been reported.
According to police, an unidentified man raped an 18-year-old girl in a bar in the Zulpich neighborhood. However, in a second case, a man who has not yet been caught is suspected of raping a young woman in a portable toilet in the university area. While another 18-year-old girl was apparently raped in a bathroom at a construction site around 3 a.m.
Officers then spotted a 76-year-old man allegedly taking pictures of women's buttocks. Police confiscated his camera and ordered him to leave the area. The incident is still under investigation.
Investigations are also underway into 25 cases of personal injury. Officers also issued 76 evictions and arrested 14 people to prevent clashes and enforce eviction orders. (A2 Televizion)
