Donald Trump is calling on the people of Greenland to join the United States, promising to make them rich.
He stressed that "one way or another" the US will still get Greenland.
"I have a message for the extraordinary people of Greenland. We strongly support your right to determine your own future. And if you choose, we welcome you to the United States of America. We need Greenland for national security and even international security, and we are working with everyone involved to achieve that, but we really need it for international global security.
"And I think we're going to get it. One way or another, we're going to get it. We're going to keep you safe. We're going to make you rich, and together we're going to take Greenland to heights you've never imagined before. It's a very small population, but a very large piece of land and very, very important for military security," Trump said. (A2 Televizion)
