Two skiers have lost their lives in the Austrian region of Tyrol after being swept away by an avalanche.
The tragic incident happened near the top of the Rosskopf mountain, in the Hippach area, while the victims were practicing alpine skiing.
Three rescue helicopters were deployed at the scene, which managed to locate the bodies of the two dead skiers.
Meanwhile, the search continues for a third person, who is also suspected to have been affected by the avalanche. Rescue operations are continuing despite difficult conditions on the ground. (A2 Televizion)
