Warsaw has scrambled its own and allied aircraft to secure the country's airspace during Russian attacks on neighboring Ukraine.
According to foreign media, the news was announced by the Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces, through a post on the social network 'X'.
"This is the second consecutive very busy night for the entire air defense system in Poland, due to the renewed activity of the long-range aviation of the Russian Federation, which carried out missile attacks on facilities located on the territory of Ukraine," the Command said in a brief statement on the 'X' social network.
It is worth noting that the Operational Command regularly issues such a statement when Russian missiles strike western Ukraine.
We recall that Sunday's Russian attacks on Ukraine were among the most severe attacks carried out by Moscow in recent times. (A2 Televizion)
