The President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, spoke today about a deal with China during a cabinet meeting, after imposing 145% tariffs.
"We'll see what happens with China," Trump said during his speech, writes A2 CNN.
"We would like to be able to make a deal. They have really taken advantage of our country for a long period of time. They have ripped us off," Trump said.
"All we're doing is putting everything back in its rightful place," he added. "We're resetting the board and I'm sure we'll be able to do very well," he added.
"I have great respect for President Xi. He has been, in a true sense, a friend of mine for a long period of time," Trump said.
"I think we're going to end up working on something that's very good for both countries. I look forward to that," Trump concluded. (A2 Televizion)
