A passenger plane travelling to London has crashed shortly after takeoff in Ahmedabad, western India.
According to foreign media, it is reported that more than 200 people are believed to have been on board the plane at the time of the crash.
The plane appears to have crashed in a residential area, with the signal lost a few seconds after takeoff when the plane had reached an altitude of 625 meters, according to Flight Radar, writes A2 CNN.
India's aviation minister says rescue teams have been mobilized, while work is underway to fully unravel the incident. (A2 Televizion)
