Three people were killed and several others were injured in a shooting at a private school in Madison, Wisconsin. The event was recorded before the students take their holidays for the end of the year holidays. Police said the student who opened fire was among the dead. The shooting happened at the Christian school "Abundant Life" in the capital, the police announced.
The names and ages of the victims were not released, but Madison Police Chief Sean Barnes said a "juvenile person" was among those killed.
Mr Barnes said the police officers who went to the scene did not fire their weapons. The author is likely to have committed suicide, he added, reports A2.
The authorities said that the reasons that may have led the author to commit the act are not yet known, but announced that detailed investigations are being carried out.

"We are praying for the children, teachers and the entire Abundant Life School community as we await more information and are grateful to the emergency crews who responded quickly," Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers said in a statement.
