The Kosovo Special Prosecution Office has submitted to the Court a request for Prime Minister Albin Kurti to appear to testify as a witness regarding the state reserves case.
It is learned that the request to order the witness to appear at the Prosecutor's Office to give testimony has been accepted by the Basic Court of Pristina, writes A2 CNN.
If Prime Minister Kurti does not appear voluntarily, he risks being fined at best and forcibly escorted away at worst. Procedural actions are expected to begin in the first week of March.
The prosecution has invited Prime Minister Albin Kurti three times in a row for investiture, but he has not responded to the prosecution's calls. Kurti has stated that prosecutors should go and interview him at the prime minister's office, stating that prosecutors have done this practice before. (A2 Televizion)
