Kosovo Police confirmed to KosovaPress that an action is being carried out in the south and north of Mitrovica related to combating criminal activities, smuggling of weapons and ammunition.
"We can confirm that, today in the early hours of the morning, the Kosovo Police, in cooperation and coordination with competent institutions, has begun the implementation of a police operation that includes two regions of Kosovo, the DRP Mitrovica South and the DRP Mitrovica North.
