The chairman of the session, Avni Dehari, appealed to the parties to unblock the situation as citizens are awaiting the creation of institutions.
The European Union said it is in Kosovo's interest to quickly form its institutions.
The EU spokesperson for enlargement issues emphasized that the rapid formation of Kosovo's institutions is important in fulfilling European reforms and moving forward on this path.
"What I can say is that it is in Kosovo's interest to quickly form the institutions, which is very important in fulfilling European reforms and moving forward on this path. It is also important for other issues, such as the Growth Plan, as you know, the Kosovo Parliament must be constituted to continue the work in this direction," Mercier declared when asked if the failure to constitute the Assembly has consequences for Kosovo's relations with the bloc, the spokesman said.
