One is killed and 4 arrested from the jewelery robbers in Suhareka, a policeman is injured

One of the robbers who worked in the jewelry store in Suharekë 8 days ago, was executed by the police in a shootout this afternoon in Pristina.

After intensive investigations and the collection of evidence, the police have developed an action to neutralize the group of violent robbers in Pristina, Fushë Kosovë and Carralevë.

During the police operation, seven different locations were checked, in order to identify and arrest the suspects, and the officers had to use their weapons in self-defense to neutralize one of the robbers.

Four other suspects have also been arrested, while previously three people suspected of assisting in the commission of the crime of robbery were handcuffed.

Two of them are currently in custody, while another was released in a regular procedure.

"Until now, the number of those arrested has reached seven people, one neutralized and another is still being sought by the police ," the police announcement states.

Meanwhile, it is reported in the press release that from the exchange of fire with the robbers during the day, a police officer was injured, who was offered medical help at SHSKUK, and is out of danger for life.

" As a result of the continuous investigations, three people suspected of assisting in the criminal act of robbery were initially arrested, while the investigations towards the identification and clarification of the case have continued until today, when the police operation was carried out. During the police operation, a suspect fired a shot at the police officers directly endangering their lives, in which case a police officer was injured," the announcement states . (A2 Televizion)
