"Today we have two good news for the former owners. We have just passed an amendment to Law 133 of 2015 on the termination of property proceedings and compensation of former owners. These are two amendments dealing with the postponement of the deadline relating to the review, assessment and compensation of properties.
The deadline used to end in December 2024, but we have extended the deadline for reviewing and evaluating the outstanding files of former owners until December 2027. While the deadline for compensation of former owners will be postponed until December 2028. There are two changes very important because it gives the agency the opportunity to comment on more than 7,000 files. In the medium term for the year 2025, we have foreseen about 3 billion ALL for the compensation of the former owners, 5.3 billion ALL for 2026-2026 and for 2028, which is the last year of compensation, the amount of compensation is 7.6 billion ALL.
Also, today we have passed a decision related to the financial compensation of real estate owners who are affected by illegal constructions", said Manja. (A2 Televizion)
