A delegation of around 2,000 residents of several villages in Tropoja and Has blocked the road leading to the border crossing with Kosovo, Qafë Prushi, for 30 minutes.
The reason for this protest, according to the residents themselves, is the lack and neglect of the needs of this community, especially for the Kam-Qafë Prush road. As can be seen from the images, the road has not seen any investment in 34 years of democracy, while the last to have put their hand to its maintenance were the Italians, who built it almost a century ago.
Residents have expressed that this protest was just the beginning of their reaction, which, if not taken into account by the authorities, will escalate further. (A2 Televizion)
