The last day of January has started out clear and with isolated rain, but A2 CNN meteorologist Tanja Porja predicts a cold and sunny start to February. In the Dita Jonë studio, Porja said that there will be little rain today, mainly in the northwest and west of the country, while temperatures will increase at noon.
"Light rain in the first part of the day in the northwest and west. The rest of the day will be clear and without precipitation. At noon there will be more sun, precipitation will be isolated. The wind will be at medium speed with a northwesterly direction. Temperatures will reach up to 15 degrees Celsius in some cities in the western part, 0 degrees in the northeast. Numerous clear skies, in the evening, raindrops in the northwest in Shkodra and Lezha. The thermometer marks an increase of 1 to 2 degrees."
But in the coming days, according to A2 CNN meteorologist, a drastic drop in temperatures to minus 8 degrees and severe frosts are expected.
"We expect a drastic drop in temperatures. Sun for several days in a row, severe frost in the second week of February. The thermometer drops several degrees below zero in mountainous areas. The thermometer is expected to drop to minus 8 degrees despite the clearings day after day. Until February 14, the weather will be dominated by sun and low temperatures."
Regarding the region, A2 CNN meteorology says that there will be isolated rainfall in the north, while favorable weather will be in Kosovo and most of the Balkans.
