The police of Elbasan have handcuffed a 33-year-old man, who is suspected of being the author of 3 thefts in 4 days, while the last attempt in a store was caught in the act.
The police announced that the citizen EB, 33 years old, a resident of Elbasan, was put in handcuffs, writes A2.
"As a result of the evidence obtained during the investigation, 3 cases of residential theft and 1 case of attempted theft were revealed.
The suspected perpetrator, with a previous criminal record in the field of property theft, is arrested.
As a result of the investigative and operational actions carried out with the aim of clarifying the cases of theft of property and assets, identifying and apprehending the suspected perpetrators, the services of the Elbasan Police Station, within the police operation coded "Repeater", caught and arrested citizen:
EB, 33 years old, resident of Elbasan.
From the investigative actions, it is suspected that the 33-year-old is the author of 3 cases of residential theft, specifically:
-on 05.12.2024 he stole jewelry from the residence of citizen DV;
- on 03.12.2024 he stole jewelry from the residence of citizen ED;
-on 07.12.2024 he stole a considerable amount of money from the residence of citizen FK.
Also, the 33-year-old tried to steal from the grocery store owned by a citizen, in the "Skënderbej" neighborhood.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of Elbasan General Jurisdiction, for further actions", the police informs. (A2 Televizion)
