A serious accident occurred on Saturday morning on the Fier-Lushnje highway.
Two vehicles were involved in the accident, writes A2.
A Benz van, belonging to a travel company and transporting passengers to Rinas Airport, was hit from behind while overtaking by another vehicle, a Benz AMG.
As a result of the collision, the AMG vehicle burst into flames.
Police announcement:
At around 03:30, on the "Fier-Lushnjë" road, a vehicle driven by citizen KE, 24 years old, resident of Fier, collided with a vehicle driven by citizen DT, 55 years old, resident of Fier.
As a result of the collision, the three passengers of the vehicle driven by citizen DT, citizen GK, 68 years old, citizen SJ, 44 years old, and citizen OK, 54 years old, were injured and are in hospital, under the care of doctors, out of danger to their lives.
Also, as a result of the collision, the vehicle driven by the citizen KE went off the road and caught fire.
The investigation team is working to fully clarify the circumstances and cause of the accident. (A2 Televizion)
