Following the tragic accident in Fushë Prezë, the concrete mixer driver Aleksandër Krrashi, 24, has been arrested for three criminal offenses: "Leaving the scene of the accident", "Violation of road traffic rules" and "Driving the vehicle in an irregular manner".

According to A2 CNN sources, it is learned that the young man did not have a driving license for heavy transport vehicles. After being stopped by the police, he claimed that he had left because he was shocked by the incident.

Preliminary verifications have shown that the concrete mixer did not have any distinctive lighting signs when it entered the main road and continued moving for several meters until the Benz vehicle collided with it.
