Former mayor of Shkodra, Bardh Spahia, appeared before SPAK this Tuesday, A2 CNN reports. Spahia did not say why he was appearing before the Special Prosecution Office.
The last time he was there was on December 24th of last year. Even then, he said he had appeared for a matter that had no public interest and was not related to corruption or crime.
Sources close to SPAK told A2 CNN that the former mayor of Shkodra had made statements regarding a complaint made by the former director of the Shkodra Water and Sewerage Authority. The former director, appointed to the position by Spahia's predecessor, Voltana Ademi, was dismissed from his position by the former mayor and has therefore requested an investigation against him.
