Durrës police have arrested 39-year-old Behar Gerguri, after he was declared internationally wanted for drug trafficking.
Through a statement, the Police announced that the Milan Court of Appeal in 2023 sentenced him to 5 years and 2 months in prison for the criminal offense of "Trafficking in narcotics".
Meanwhile, procedures for the 39-year-old's extradition to Italy continue, writes A2 CNN.

Following successive operations to locate and capture citizens declared internationally wanted, based on information obtained operationally, the services of the Special Operational Force and the Narcotics Investigation Section, in cooperation with the services of the Road Traffic Sector, of the Durrës Local Police Directorate, within the framework of the police operation codenamed "The Wanted", located, captured and arrested with the aim of extradition to Italy, the citizen:
Behar Gerguri, 39 years old, resident of Durrës.
This citizen was declared internationally wanted after the Court of Appeal of Milan, Italy, in 2023, sentenced him to 5 years and 2 months in prison for the criminal offense of "Trafficking in narcotics", provided for by the Italian Criminal Code.
