The Special Prosecutor's Office, SPAK completed the investigations against the suspended head of the Vlora prosecutor's office, Aurel Zarka, and other justice officials, suspected of corruption in order to facilitate the accused of the "Toyota Yaris" file, writes A2 CNN.
According to SPAK, the chief prosecutor who was investigated under the security measure "arrest in prison" and three other wanted persons, including Erjona Daupaj, former officer of the Judicial Police and lawyer Radovan Çela, have exerted illegal influence, took bribes, but also gave bribes to justice officials.
SPAK's investigation was assisted by the Belgian authorities, who forwarded to Albania the communications made between the suspects through the SKY ECC application. Sources near SPAK informed A2 CNN that the former head of the Vlora prosecution, Zarka, and the lawyer Radovan Çela are accused of "corruption" and "exercising illegal influence on justice officials". Referring to SPAK's investigation, the accused intervened in 4 cases for the "Toyota Yuaris" file, a file that started for "criminal group" and "money laundering", but ended with only one sentenced to 1 year and 6 months in prison by the ordinary court. Yes, according to SPAK, the suspects influenced the property investigation by SPAK against Suel Çela, in one case for theft and two for "narcotics cultivation".
