The police of Korça have arrested the suspected author who, two days ago, forcibly broke the main entrance door of a second-level bank in the center of the city of Korça, while he was live on Tik Tok.
According to the Police, 38-year-old Valter Xhellillari was arrested yesterday evening in his apartment in district number 6 of the city, after 24 hours of intense search.
At the time of his arrest, he informed the police that he did not remember anything about what happened on the day of the incident as he was under the influence of alcohol.
Initially, the police of Korça concentrated on their checks in district 3, where there was information that he might have taken shelter, but only last night the 38-year-old returned to his apartment, where he was arrested by the police forces, who for 3 days they were watching the apartment of 38-year-old Valter Xhellillari.

After intensive checks that lasted 24 hours, the Korca Police made it possible to locate and capture the 38-year-old.
Immediately after the event that happened on the evening of December 21, in district no. 3, Korçë, the services of the Korçë Local Police Directorate, in cooperation with the services of the Korçë Police Station, carried out continuous checks to catch the perpetrator.
After the identification of the suspected perpetrator, based on police intelligence, the Police located in district no. 6 in Korça and arrested the citizen V. Xh., 38 years old, a resident of Korça.
On 21.12.2024, around 10:05 p.m., the 38-year-old man forcibly entered the premises of a second-level bank, where he stayed for a few seconds and left as soon as he found the services of the Police, without taking anything.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of Korçë General Jurisdiction, for further actions.
