The driver of the student transport line is stopped by the Përmet Police, as he is suspected of sexually harassing a minor student.
The incident happened this Friday, where the 14-year-old student from the village of Katundisht complained to her teacher at the 9-year-old school "Kamber Bënja" in Këlcyre.
She confessed that she was verbally harassed by citizen Nikolin J., 36 years old, a resident of the village of Katundisht, but claims that he also physically touched her.
Immediately, the minor was taken to the Përmet Police where she gave evidence in the presence of a psychologist. The student herself narrated the embarrassing moments and the sexual harassment by the van driver. After that, the driver of the van, Nikolin J., was detained, and he is being held in the detention rooms at the Gjirokastër Local Police Directorate, until the Court of Fact issues a decision within 48 hours.
