On Thursday morning, Argita Malltezi, the daughter of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, responded positively to a summons from the Special Prosecutor's Office, SPAK. The reason for the call had nothing to do with the investigations that this structure conducted against her father, or even her husband, Jamarbër Malltezi, both defendants in the "Partizani" file.

In less than 30 minutes, Malltezi gave explanations as a person in the know, for a report made against her by the Special Judge, Irena Gjoka, the same one who earlier signed the "house arrest" security measure for former Prime Minister Berisha and "arrest in prison" for Jamarbër Malltez, writes A2.

In the report filed three months ago, Gjoka requests the investigation of Argita Malltez due to several public statements linking her name to an amount of 500 thousand euros requested by an exponent of the Socialist Party for a judicial favor.

Outside SPAK, Malltezi said she had only raised questions about the matter.

"I have referred to the writings that existed in the media since August 2024. What did I do? I asked, does such a video exist? Does SPAK have a video that it found by chance during the inspection of the apartment of a journalist who left Albania", declared Argita, who spoke about a different standard of SPAK, which, according to her, recorded the report of judge Gjoka , but not the reports made by her and her husband.

As for the reassignment of the measure "obligation to appear" against her father by the Special Appeal, Malltezi commented as a primitive decision and political revenge.  (A2 Televizion)
