The police operation codenamed "Winter" is being finalized, to crack down on the criminal activity of selling narcotics in doses.
The operation was carried out by the Narcotics Investigation Section, in cooperation with the "Eagle" Special Force, with the operational services of the Durrës DVP and with the Kavajë Police Commissariat, under the direction of the Durrës Prosecutor's Office.
They were selling doses of cocaine and cannabis near schools in Kavaja, in collaboration and individually, 15 citizens are identified. 13 of them are arrested, 1 is under investigation, the other is declared wanted.
Hundreds of doses of cocaine and cannabis, equipment for pressing and dividing narcotics into doses and sums of money are seized.
Also, 3 silencers, 1 bulletproof vest and equipment for modifying firearms, which were found in an environment in Kavaja, which was suspected of being adapted for modifying firearms, were seized.
As a result of investigations conducted with proactive methods under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, within the framework of a proceeding for the criminal offense "Production and sale of narcotics", the structures of the Durrës DVP have finalized the police operation codenamed "Winter", during which arrest warrants were executed for 13 citizens, as follows:
R. Gj., 35 years old, resident of Rrogozhina;
RD, 29 years old, resident of Kavaja;
ED, 22 years old, resident of Kavaja;
RL, 25 years old, resident of Kavaja;
RK, 19 years old, resident of Kavaja;
A. Sh., 23 years old, resident of Kavaja;
R. Sh., 21 years old, resident of Kavaja;
EM, 29 years old, resident of Kavaja;
BB, 33 years old, resident of Kavaja;
SA, 25 years old, resident of Kavaja;
KV, 52 years old, resident of Kavaja;
BD, 50 years old, resident of the village of Synej;
A. Xh., 38 years old, resident of Kavaja.
Also, proceedings have been initiated for the citizen NM, 32 years old, resident of Kavaja, and citizen BD, 32 years old, resident of Kavaja, has been declared wanted.
The following were seized as material evidence:
80 doses of cocaine, 620 doses of cannabis, 2 electronic scales, equipment for pressing narcotics and dividing them into doses, amounts of money in euros and lek and 19 mobile phones;
3 silencers, 1 bulletproof vest, firearm modification equipment, 1 detector and 1 wave blocker.
From the investigative actions, it is suspected that these citizens, in collaboration with each other and individually, were selling doses of cocaine and cannabis narcotics in various areas of Kavaja, mainly near schools.

The procedural materials were transferred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Durrës, for further action. (A2 Televizion)
