The court of Shkodra has assessed as legal the arrest of two brothers Arjon and Klisman Hasaj, who are suspected of being the perpetrators of the murder of the citizen Ramazan Mataj.

Arjon Hasaj has fully admitted that he is the author of the murder of the citizen Ramazan Mataj, an event that took place on the evening of January 4 in the village of Dragoç in Postriba in Shkodër.

Hasaj has declared to the local police of Shkodra that he is the person who killed 33-year-old Mataj with a firearm, taking responsibility for the serious crime. Meanwhile, the author's brother, citizen Klisman Hasaj, suspected of providing the conditions to commit the murder and hiding the crime weapon, has not accepted any charges against him, saying that he was not aware of his brother's actions and the fact that he would commit murder. Arjon Hasaj has fully revealed the murder, which according to the author came as a result of a relationship that the victim had with his sister for at least 6 years, writes A2 CNN.

"I am the person who killed the citizen Ramazan Mataj. For 6 years he had a relationship with our sister. Ramadan is the person who broke up two of his sister's marriages in the last 6 years. He has told this story to many people in the village and beyond, while he is the person who divorced our sister twice. She even shared some videos with her second ex-husband and other people in the village in intimate moments with her sister. I opened a fake Instagram account under a girl's name and set up a date with Ramazan Mataj. He came and I shot him there. Then I hid the gun a few meters away from where I killed him. After the murder, I left by bicycle towards the apartment. I have had the gun at home for some time. My sister has not lived in our apartment for some time, she used to live in Shkodër", Hasaj is said to have stated.

"I had no knowledge of the murder that my brother was going to commit and I have nothing to do with that event," Klisman Hasaj, the author's brother, is said to have declared.

After the serious incident, the local police of Shkodra conducted surveillance in the apartment of the Hasaj family. During the wiretapping, the two brothers talked about the murder committed by Arjon, and at one point it emerged that the main perpetrator, Arjon Hasaj, regretted hiding the weapon and went to take it again and bury it in the backyard for safety.  (A2 Televizion)
