As a result of the cooperation between Interpol Tirana and counterparts in Turkey, the much wanted citizen Dritan Rexhepi alias Gramos Rexhepi is extradited to Albania.
The 45-year-old, citizen with high social risk, because:
-In 2020, the CJKKO assigned the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offenses "Kidnapping or holding a person hostage", carried out in cooperation, "Hiding and disposing of a corpse", "Trafficking of substances" narcotics", "Illegal possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition" and "Commitment of criminal offenses by criminal organization and structured criminal group". The citizen Dritan Rexhepi alias Gramos Rexhepi is accused of having, in cooperation with the citizen GD, ordered the kidnapping of the citizen JP, as he suspected that in 2019, the brother of the citizen JP had stolen in England, a container with narcotics owned by the 45-year-old and his associates;
-In 2015, the Court of Fier sentenced him to 4 years of imprisonment, for the criminal offenses "Forgery of identity cards, passports or visas" and "Forgery of seals, stamps or forms";
-In 2013, he was sentenced by the Court for Serious Crimes, with 25 years of imprisonment, for the criminal offenses of "Premeditated murder" and "Intentional serious injury", committed in cooperation, as well as "Illegal possession and production of weapons , explosive weapons and ammunition". On 06.10.1999, in a bar in Krujë, the 45-year-old, in cooperation with another citizen, killed with a firearm, the citizen DK, as well as wounded the owner of the bar, the citizen RB, who later died , in the hospital;
- In 2010, he was sentenced by the Court of Appeal of Florence, Italy, to 16 years in prison, for participating in a structured criminal group, for drug trafficking. Citizen Dritan Rexhepi alias Gramos Rexhepi has escaped from the place of serving this sentence, in Florence. He has 13 years, 8 months and 6 days of imprisonment left to serve from this sentence.
