A fire broke out at a garbage dump in the village of Hardishte, in the Shijak municipality, last midnight.
A2 CNN reports that after several hours of intervention, firefighters and police were able to locate and then extinguish the flames. There is no reported threat to homes or businesses, as the fire was located far from the perimeter of the residential area.
Work is underway to identify the causes and perpetrators, in case the fire was intentional for waste disposal or accidental. (A2 Televizion)
