In the Fier district, the vote count has been completed, with the Socialist Party managing to win 12 mandates, while the counting of Diaspora votes is also awaited, where it results that only the "Nisma-Albania Becomes" coalition can jeopardize its historic victory, being still in the game for one mandate.
After the completion of the last ballot box in CEAZ 60, the political leader of the Socialist Party in this district, Belinda Balluku, spoke to the media and expressed her happiness for exceeding expectations in terms of mandates and expressed appreciation for the process that continued without problems or interruptions.
Balluku did not spare a shot at her rivals from the Democratic Party, saying that " having mandates removed from the closed list must be shocking ."
"Everything went well in a model process without problems, without interruptions, so I take this opportunity to thank the entire team that administered it, left and right. As for the result, we were prepared for a profound result because the SP does not work in vain to tell the truth. We work in a way with meetings, tables and the spirit is felt. We were prepared for 11 mandates, but the 12th mandate is the realization of a wish that I am truly very happy about. With the boxes that have now been counted, the SP is over 63% at the regional level. The DP is at 25%, and considering the trend of the Diaspora, the DP no longer has any chance of getting another mandate in this region. It is a historic victory for us and a historic loss for them," said Balluku.
Asked if she greeted or shook hands with any of the Democratic Party representatives, she said she had not seen them in the field, while inviting them to reflect and understand how competitions are won.
" I don't remember shaking hands with anyone, because Democrats never shake hands. The last time we lost a CEAZ was in 2011. All our strength and the way a party should work is from the flagrant theft of 2011. We learned there that the DP did not know how to win otherwise but only by stealing, so since then we have worked to organize ourselves on the ground. Our candidates for deputies have shaken hands with anyone, they have sat at the table with anyone. This is the difference between the SP and the DP. None of the other things they say stand. Compare who led this campaign and the districts for the DP and here you will find the answer and the DP itself will find out because it does not know where this victory comes from ", Balluku said.
