For the first time, a candidate with disabilities has entered the political race to be elected as a member of parliament and to raise his voice not only for the social class he represents, but also for the health service, the lack of meritocracy in the country's administration and even the Cham issue. Tanush Çaushi is part of the "Albania Becomes" coalition. In an interview with A2 CNN, he reveals the reasons why he decided to run.

"Seeing the serious health situation, in the field of health and patients' rights, I decided to take the initiative I had taken in civil society further and raise my voice in parliament. The first slogan is pro-health. To have hospitals, new health centers, new polyclinics. To have a universal health treatment system. People who have no friends in the state and are not affiliated with parties, emigrate for this fact. We will create a professional administration and have meritocracy as a basis. The other issue is the Cham community. No one talks about it, the term has disappeared from history books. This is unacceptable because these citizens are Albanian citizens and have the right to their speech, property and origin." (A2 Televizion)
