"Edi Rama's firm has no value, as he is under international investigation." This was Sali Berisha's reaction to the agreement that Albania made with Italy for the reception of refugees from the neighboring country.

In a statement from the Presidency of the Assembly, where Reestablishment is expected to hold a meeting of the Parliamentary Group, Berisha accused Prime Minister Edi Rama of having made the agreement with Italy, among other things, to feed, as he said, "his gangs with traffic human diversity."

"I express my respect for the prime minister of Italy. But Edi Rama's signature in that agreement is invalid. Because he is prime minister in international investigations and is willing to sign anything to relieve himself of a hopeless international investigation. Any kind of firm of his, has no value anymore. Albania has an agreement with Italy, signed with Napolitano, when we agreed that every emigrant, from other countries, who passes from Albania to Italy, returns to Albania to go to his country."

Also, the head of the Reestablishment cited the Eurostat statistics to the Italian neighbors, according to which from 2014-2021, more than 100 thousand Albanians leave the country every year for Italy, Greece and the Schengen area.

As for yesterday's developments, when the expelled opposition MPs were prevented by the guard from entering the Presidency of the Assembly, Berisha commented as "the most shameful act in the history of a Parliament".

The Head of Reestablishment promised other developments during the day. (A2 Televizion)
