The rain seems to have dampened the nerve gunpowder of the Democrats. Not even the presence of Sali Berisha managed to produce a change from the last civil disobedience where only hundreds of citizens responded to the call to block the five nodes of Tirana, writes A2 CNN. Despite this, the chief democrat described the act of civil disobedience as a success of the democrats' action.

After this statement accompanied by ovations, Berisha started the march through Tirana and went to every point where the democrats had blocked the road. "They believed that the rain and the weather would hinder us. Here, we are more than ever from the whole of Albania in this battle, which will only stop when we create a technical government and the Albanian citizens can vote freely", said Berisha.

The numbers on the streets were not so great that the police played a passive role. After 60 minutes of peace, they began the maneuver to free the roads and restore the circulation of vehicles.

The leadership dome of the Democratic Party was spread out in several areas of the capital, to contain the militants, but their presence was difficult to distinguish from the many rain umbrellas. But more than the umbrellas, the police suits that followed the intervention were counted.

Not even the top leaders of the DP could escape the police force. Agron Gjekmarkaj and Gazment Bardhi seem to see each other closely. "Criminals in uniform have hit the deputy president of the DP Agron Gjekmarkaj. This is a criminal act ordered directly by Edi Rama", said Berisha. The State Police responded to these accusations with the same language, denying the violence against MP Gjekmarkaj and accused Flamur Noka of insulting and opposing the blue uniforms.

While the protest was dying down, Berisha continued his march through Tirana and his last stop was at the Trauma Hospital, where he saw Agron Gjekmarkaj's condition up close. "Mr. Gjekmarkaj is receiving first aid, he has been visited by the responsible doctors, he will stay under observation tonight and we hope that his condition will not worsen at night, but will improve and he will leave the hospital tomorrow", said Berisha.

After Sali Berisha, the democratic deputy was visited in the hospital by Gazment Bardhi, who continued the accusations against the police. (A2 Televizion)
