"In the justice system, we are still in the Stone Age." This is what Prime Minister Edi Rama said this Friday, as he participated in the presentation of the GRECO report on the fight against corruption and said that he will continue with a new wave of reforms.
He stated that the prosecution and police continue to conduct interviews as in the "Stone Age", without audio and video, writes A2 CNN.
"In the justice system, we are still in the Stone Age. We conduct interviews in the prosecution and in the police, in fact, without audio and without video. Interviews in the prosecution are done like in the Stone Age. I see you, you see me, I ask you, you tell me and I write what I want. This has been highlighted by international institutions and is one of the things that needs to change," said Rama.
Meanwhile, he reiterated that support for SPAK will continue. "We will support the justice system, SPAK, GJKKO and other institutions, and we hope that the digital management system of all issues related to the judicial system will finally become a reality," said Edi Rama. (A2 Televizion)
