Many ballots have not reached the addresses of emigrants, while many others have gone through problems. This is the conclusion reached by the Democratic Party at the conclusion of the process of sending envelopes with ballots from the Central Election Commission to voters abroad.

The political leader of the diaspora in the Democratic Party and the legal representative of the blue headquarters at the CEC, in a press conference, listed the problems encountered with voting from abroad so far.

"One of the problems is not going to the appropriate address to collect the envelope as agreed, there have been cases where the ballot has been missing. There have been cases where the envelopes have been thrown in the yard or taken by a neighbor, which is not legal," said Topalli.

Topalli claims that if the issues are not resolved, the integrity of the elections could be compromised, so there was a call for the CEC.

"To ask DHL to fulfill its legal and logistical obligations. Violating the deadlines and standards set by law is a violation of the vote and violates the integrity of the elections," Topalli added.

The legal representative of the Democratic Party, Franci Nuri, also called on SPAK to investigate the contracting of the post office by DHL for the distribution of envelopes in Greece.  (A2 Televizion)
