In a grand ceremony organized at the National Opera and Ballet Theater by the Football Federation, Berat Gjimshiti was honored with the prestigious "National Player of the Year" award.
The special award was presented by the coach of the Albanian National Team, Silvinjo, to Sevime Gjimshiti, the mother of Berat Gjimshiti, who, due to commitments with his club, was unable to be present.
Gjimshiti, who plays for Atalanta in Serie A and captains the Albanian national team, has had an exceptional year. He led Atalanta to a historic UEFA Europa League triumph and was a key figure in Albania's dignified representation at the European Championship "Germany 2024".
His selection as "National Team Player of the Year" was made by votes from the National Team players. (A2 Televizion)
