Davide Frattesi was the one who scored the decisive goal for Inter's qualification to the Champions League final, in the 4-3 victory over Barcelona.
"I don't know what happened. I know I celebrated a lot and like crazy. I screamed so much that I lost my mind. I just watched in mourning. Luckily, I managed to continue. We did an incredible job as a team. The victory is for all the fans and for all the staff," Frattesi said after the match, writes A2.
"After Bayern Munich, I thought we wouldn't be able to experience matches with so much emotion. But that's the beauty of football. We don't want to stop there," added the Italian midfielder.
Frattesi admitted he never believed Inter would win after conceding the third goal and the match was 3-2 to the Catalans.
"I didn't believe we would win when we drew and when they knocked us out. Then, when we scored the third goal, I told Thuram that we would win this match and go to the final," stressed Davide Frattesi. (A2 Televizion)
