Albania officially begins preparations on the field for the start of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. Some of the players assembled by coach Sylvinho appeared in the first session.
The presence of striker Armando Broja, who returned from a serious injury he suffered with Everton in the English Premier League, was noticeable. Alongside the 23-year-old were some of the other red and black stars. From Asllani and Ismajli, to continue with Ramadani, Muçi and Qazim Laçi.
Of the 26 players who were called up for the first matches, only 13 of them, or only half, were placed under Sylvinho's orders. Since the group is expected to be completed in the coming hours, after the weekend commitments that many players had with their teams, several championship players were added to the group in the first training session.
Present under the orders of the National Team staff were Partizan's Bytyçi, but also former Shpresava kuqezi players such as Gjumsi of Tirana, Toma of Teutë and Ismaili of Vora.
The National Team will debut in Group K of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers on March 21, against England at Wembley. Meanwhile, on March 24, the Rossoneri will play at home against Andorra, which on paper is considered one of the weakest opponents. (A2 Televizion)
