Jasir Asani warms up the left wing, before the engagement with the National Team, in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. The red and black striker was the absolute protagonist in the 3-0 victory that Gwangju recorded against the Japanese Vissel Kobe in the Asian Champions.
The team from South Korea had lost 2-0 in the first match, but achieved an extraordinary reversal of the result thanks to the Albanian star. Asani initially tied the overall score at 2-2 with a penalty.
But the real pearl came in the 118th minute of extra time, after an incursion like the usual ones from the wing and a left-footed shot that ended in the net.
The images are spectacular. The moment of the execution of the shot shows all the quality and striking power of the striker, bringing to mind his fantastic goals, thanks to which Albania qualified for the finals of Euro 2024.
The excellent goal caused celebrations to erupt in the stadium, for an extraordinary result for Gwangju, a team that debuted in the most important tournament of Asian football this edition.
