Jonathan David is officially Juventus' newest striker and today he gave his first press conference. Wearing the number 30 jersey, the Canadian appeared full of enthusiasm and ambition: "It's a great emotion to be part of Juventus. I loved this club at all costs and I'm ready to work hard."
David, transferred from Lille on July 4, has set clear goals: "In the last three seasons I have not scored less than 25 goals. I know that Serie A is more tactical and more difficult, but I believe I can do it. I will work every day to achieve this goal."
Asked about his idols, he mentioned legendary names like Drogba and Eto'o, while from Juventus' history he mentioned Ronaldo, Dybala, Del Piero and Trezeguet. "I really liked the way they scored," he said.
Regarding the possibility of playing alongside Vlahovic, he said that everything will depend on coach Tudor, but at the moment they are training as center forwards.
