A concert at the "Loro Boriçi" stadium scheduled for June 21st seems to have brought strong clashes between the Shkodra Municipality and the Vllaznia football club.
The Red and Blues club has come out against it, arguing that these activities could lead to UEFA not licensing the facility for the Red and Blues' European matches. An urgent meeting at the Shkodran club led to president Alban Xhaferi appearing at a press conference to express his concerns.
Despite this, a post by the mayor of Shkodra, Benet Beci, who, despite the continued opposition of the Shkodra club and the Albanian Football Association itself, indicated that the concert would be held at the stadium, has caused the red and blue leaders to react again.
The club also issued a press release raising three main questions for the organizers, relating to the fund for the concert, the decision of the Municipal Council to change the destination, and the decision authorizing the municipality to give the "Loro Boric" stadium free of charge.
If the situation is not resolved, then one option could be for the red and blues to play at the "Niko Dovana" stadium. (A2 Televizion)
