Thiago Motta will be dismissed from his position as Juventus coach. In their reports, the Italian media give the certainty of the Italian-Brazilian's departure from the bench. Igor Tudor, the former famous player of the team, is expected to be appointed at the head of the Bianconeri, who will hold the position until the end of the season.
According to "Gazzetta dello Sport", Tudor has accepted the club's offer and will appear in Turin to formalize the agreement. Juventus has not yet made any official announcement to deny the change in the bench.
The decision came after a disappointing season, failure in the Champions League with the elimination by PSV, but above all after seven goals conceded in the last two losses to Atalanta and Fiorentina. The team is currently in fifth place and risks remaining out of the Champions League for the new edition. This would be a major financial blow, considering that the departure of coach Motta could cost the club around 20 million euros.
