Moments of panic and fear have passed the star of Liverpool, Mohamed Salah during the challenge that Egypt won with the result 0-2 in the field of Sierra Leone on Sunday.
Egypt continued their perfect start to the 2025 World Cup qualifying campaign, but the game did not end well as Salah was targeted by the home fans who invaded the pitch.
In several videos making the rounds online, dozens of local fans are seen running towards Salah, trying to hit him.

The fans who invaded the pitch broke through the barriers and were heading towards Salah, but his teammates created a wall of security, surrounding the Liverpool forward.
Egypt's Mohamed Abdelmonem can be seen guarding his team-mate as security guards enter the pitch to calm the situation.

Salah appeared calm as he tried to avoid the tense situation, while in another video he is seen being escorted off the field by a number of guards in military uniform.
Sierra Leone finished with nine men, with Abdul Jarju Kabia and Derby County star Tyrese Fornah both sent off. (A2 Televizion)
